THE MISSION

500km with mountain bikes and packrafts around some of New Zealand's pristine bushland. This trip, conceived years ago will be a challenge for both the experience backcountry expert and the relative beginner alike.

The concept is simple, grab a raft and a bike and use as much singletrack as possible to join the major rivers in the north of New Zealand's South Island.

THE CREW

MUEL comes from a background in backcountry guiding and adventuring. He's a man of few words but immense endurance and strength. We can count on him to have our backs.

ROSE

ROSE is an extremely skilled trail rider and is well known for taking up the rear position on a downhill tandem with her husband, Jackson. She is new to the river and the rapids will be her biggest challenge.

DEANE is the facilitator. With many years experience in the backcountry, both on adventures and guiding rafting expeditions he is the route planner and organiser for the trip. Skilled on both a mountain bike and a pack-raft, Deane is the man.
