Andrea - Tēnā koe (Hello to you)
It was wonderful talking to you last time I was in New Plymouth in February. We had a great discussion about Vans and traveling New Zealand. Upon arriving in the South Island I was immediately booked out for quite a long time. I am now ready to head north again after finishing a number of South Island projects.
I thought I'd put this webpage together to showcase what I've been up to and see if I can be of assistance.
WHEN WE MET
When we met I had just finished filming a 10 day gravel cycling documentary across the north island. You can check out the final finished film below:
THE BANNER VIDEOS
What's the deal with the banner videos? Recently a lot of my work has been filming for other organizations as they love my camera work and have the ability to edit video themselves. I wanted to do a 'director's cut' of some of the projects I'd been working on and have made some rough sequences to show showcase some more recent work I've been doing.
PROJECTS WE ARE PROUD OF
HAYDEN PADDON
EV CAR REVEAL
Partnering with MA Media we filmed at a combination of locations around Highlands Raceway in Cromwell. The video is the international release film for the new electric rally car developed by Hayden Paddon and currently has over 1 million views across all platforms.
GENLESS HAYDEN PADDON
We also filmed additional footage after the shoot above enabling MA Media to create a different version of the video for GENLESS.
WATTWHEELS TRIKES
The latest in our ongoing product series for Wattwheels. These videos have both a camera operator and remote controller to enable 3D camera moves to keep the viewer engaged.
BURKES METALWORKS
Burkes Metalworks wanted to showcase the 'old school' skill of their panel beaters and their capabilities as a custom car building workshop.
ALLIANCE PAPER
'Make paper sexy' was the job description from the company CEO. A week later of filming in their Brisbane based factory and we think we came up with something 'sexy'.
APOLLO TRACE AND TRANSFER
Melbourne based Apollo bikes wanted to promote their new Trace and Transfer range on Facebook and their website. After a flight to Melbourne our team got to work on shooting this video throughout the busy Melbourne CBD.
MAKING TRAX SERIES
Filmed on the fly with no planning or control over the situation, this project was all about promoting inclusive tourism in New Zealand.
We utilized all our skills at moving fast and building a film on the fly while also working around the tourism operators during their normal operations.
We also shared a lot of this footage with ABC National News in Australia to be part of a piece on Making Trax and inclusive Tourism.
SPOKE MAGAZINE PHOTOS
Spoke Magazine is considered to be the pinnacle of mountain bike photography in New Zealand. We have had images published in the 'Gallery' section. See the third image down at the link to the right.
PHOTOGRAPHY
THE PROCESS + PRICING
THE PROCESS
We use a goals based process to develop and produce content for clients.
-
Goals
What does the client want to achieve?
-
Wishlist
If budget wasn't an issue, brainstorm all content that can achieve those goals.
-
Budget
What can the client sustainably spend to achieve the goals?
-
Priority
Usually there is a disconnect between the Wishlist and the budget. We work with the client to decide what to do first.
-
Content Plan
Combining the elements that the budget currently allows and those it doesn't, we develop a long-term content plan. This means that the content produced today, fits with the greater plan of tomorrow.
-
Implement
Once we have a list of content we can start work on production.
WE PRICE PER PROJECT
We price per project. This means less stress for you and the client as everyone is aware of how much it costs to achieve the goal.
We commonly work on a variety of different sized projects starting from $2500exGST upwards.
THE NEXT STEPS
OUR SCHEDULE
After finishing up lots of work in the South Island, we are back in the New Plymouth area for the remainder of August and the North Island for part of September at this stage.
We would love to hear about any content needs your clients have both in the North and South Island.
