CONTENT CREATION PROPOSAL

INTRODUCTION

This page is an expression of interest in creating promotional content for Porters Ski Field during the coming winter season.

LAST SEASON

Last season I shot a video at Porters for Ski Selywn Six.  Throughout the time on the field I endevoured to learn as much as possible about Porters, its staff and its value proposition for its clients.  From that I discovered numerous ways that video content will help the field grow in the future.

Uli, Blair and other staff were impressed with my work ethic and the content that I can produce and are keen to investigate ways we can work together this season.

THIS SEASON

This season Ski Selywn Six has requested I return to Porters for a 1 day photo shoot and Chill Pass is currently looking at their budget to see if there is potential for advertising video content.

I propose returning to Porters Ski field on a more full time basis to develop and implement a content plan with the aim of boosting the number of patrons for the future.

GOALS

  • Increase patron numbers at Porters Ski Field
     

  • Establish Porters as a 'commercial field' in the minds of potential customers with 'commercial' facilities.
     

  • Educate customers as to how a ski field works and what they need to bring (focus on schools)
     

  • Establish Porters as the gateway to the skiing 'destination' of Selywn
     

  • Establish Selywn as a skiing destination

ADVENTURERS ARE WHO WE ARE

At our core,  Extremekid Productions is all about the adventure,  especially when it comes to the outdoors.  Its our passion; from exploring our local trails to shooting overseas, we love adventure and we love getting more people out there.

With experience shooting around New Zealand and Australia and 10 years in bike shops we bring a brilliant combination of customer/market knowledge and content creation skills to Porters Ski Field.

PROJECT LOGISTICS

CONTENT PLAN

Working with Porters Marketing team we aim to develop a content plan to achieve the project goals.  This will include a list of video and photo content,  approximate shooting dates and delivery dates.

LOGISTICS

Once the content plan has been developed Extremekid Productions anticipate spending 80-90% of each week working on content for Porters whether that be shooting or editing.  3-4 days of each week would be spent on mountain shooting, allowing us to shoot during the best light and weather.  The remainder of the week would be spent editing the footage into videos.

INTEGRATION

Exremekid Productions anticipates integrating into the existing Porters marketing team and working alongside Alan.  We would like to leverage his experience as a photographer to assist us in shooting video among other things.

For example,  during shooting for the Selywn Six video he was our spotter while flying a drone.

Other Porters staff including Blair are familiar with us from last year's video.

PROJECT COSTING

We anticipate working with Porters at or close to full time this winter and anticipate the project budget to reflect both the Project Goals and the time, experience and equipment required to bring it to reality.

Outside of shooting and editing we anticipate leveraging the ski school and facilities at Porters to develop our skills on the snow for filming future snow seasons at Porters

From here we need to solidify the project goals, the associated content plan and optimize them to fit into the project budget.
