THE OUTDOORS ARE US

DYLAN GERSCHWITZ - DIRECTOR
The outdoors are a passion of mine and I grew up between Coffins Bay (near Port Lincoln) and Port Augusta over in South Australia. In Coffin Bay I lived in the middle of the national park (Father is a ranger) and spend a lot of time on my grandparents farm. We regularly went on 4wd expeditions, camping and fishing throughout Coffins Bay National Park. The Flinders Ranges were also a popular spot for our family with very regular walks through Wilpena Pound, Alligator Gorge and Devils Peak along with 4wd trips though the station country.

During my years in Port Augusta I discovered mountain biking, then moved to Adelaide for University and studied Product Design and Engineering. While at university I raced sporadically (XC/Enduro) and guided rides at the Melrose Fat Tyre Festival and mentored students from Prince Alfred College at the Kona Dirty Weekend 24hr XC Race. Then I got distracted by film making and photography. This lead to shooting Crankworx Rotorua and a full time adventure film-making career with clients spanning Australia and New Zealand.

I currently follow work between Australia and New Zealand, spending the majority of my time around Christchurch. Outdoor adventure and mountain biking videos are my favourites and I’m premiering my latest Bikerafting film at the NZ Mountain Film Festival very soon.

Encouraging more people to spend time outdoors motivates me to work with communities and people to spread their stories through film and photos.

PROJECT CREW

OUR CREW ARE ALL ADVENTOUROUS FILMMAKERS
Multisport adventure races move fast, very very fast. This means that we need multiple cameras at pre-scouted locations throughout the duration of the event. We have a network of experienced filmmakers that we would like to include in this project to ensure the best possible coverage of the event.
DYLAN GERSCHWITZ
As director of Extremekid Productions, Dylan is an experienced adventure filmmaker.
OLIVER WATSON
Oliver Watson as an adventure and corporate filmmaker is our go to guy whenever we need an extra pair of hands, mind or second camera angle on a project. He has worked with us on various projects across Australia and New Zealand.
JACK SMITH
Jack Smith regularly films off-road rally sport and other adventure sports from both behind a camera and a project management perspective. He is well acquainted with working in a fast and reliable manor chasing very quick cars through the Forrest.
JASON LARRAMAN
Jason can usually be found behind a camera in some remote location filming adventure lifestyle content around the world. He has experience with long form adventure events like the Coast to Coast.
DEANE PARKER
Deane is the ideal multisport athlete to embed in a team to coordinate go pro footage and shoot 'in the moment' shots that would otherwise be difficult to get from outside of a team. He is an extremely experience river guide with many years in Kayaks, rafts and packrafts. Over the last few years we have been working together on multi-day adventure stories.

PROJECT BUDGETS
TALENT FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE
Our background in Sales and Customer Service enables us to connect and develop relationships with talent, regardless of background, age or gender.

We love working with athletes (including kids) and brand ambassadors including on multi-day adventure expeditions.

THE NEXT STEPS
The next step from here would be to confirm the project scope and budget so that we can lock in the extra staff required to cover the event route.
We would also reach out to Deane Parker, Bob Miller and others to form a team to enter in the race, not to win but to collect 'in the moment' footage and sound bites for the film.
